Unlike many other courses, our courses are number limited, each 2 day course has 24 places. This is due to the ratio of 2 examiners to 1 candidate in our vivas.
We receive more applications than we have spaces. We do not expand our courses as this would reduce the quality of the learning experience for each candidate.
Places for our courses are offered based on the dates interest has first been expressed.
Expressions of interest do not automatically roll over to the next course. Each set of courses has a separate waiting list.
Interest cannot be noted in multiple courses at the outset. This becomes too confusing as in some cases, one course is booked before the course before has been held.
Block booking of candidates are not accepted and each individual should register their interest separately.
If a candidate wishes to cancel a place, policy is that every effort will be made to rebook the place with another candidate. If another candidate books the place, a full refund, minus any bank charges, will be given to the candidate cancelling.
Places are not transferable between courses. If a place is cancelled, interest can be noted in the next courses and the candidate will be added to the wait list from the date noted.
In some circumstance it may be necessary to cancel the course due to factors outwith our control (eg weather conditions, pandemics). If this occurs a full refund of course fees will be given. The course organisers will not be liable for any ancillary charges incurred as a result of cancellation.
